Your agent runs around the clock on your server. This puts it in your pocket.
Hermes, the agent on your PocketCorp, already speaks Telegram. This kit sets that up for you: open the setup page, scan the code with your phone and tap Create bot in Telegram. Hermes makes a bot that belongs to you and answers only you. No BotFather, no tokens to copy, no terminal. Ask it something on the train, send it a photo of a receipt, tell it to fix the text on your landing page: it has the full run of your server, so it does the work instead of explaining how.
What you get
- One-scan setup from a page linked on your server page (or paste a BotFather token if you already have a bot)
- A private bot: only you, plus anyone you approve. Someone new messages the bot, their request appears on the page, you tap Approve. Remove anyone at any time
- Everything Hermes does in chat: it remembers the conversation, understands voice notes, photos and files, and /new starts fresh
- It can message you first: finished jobs, decisions it needs, scheduled reports all land in your home chat
It runs on Hermes' own Telegram connection. The kit adds a small setup page and configures Hermes; it doesn't relay anything itself. Your bot token stays with Hermes on your server, and messages are answered by your own agent on your own tokens. The QR setup uses Hermes' bot-creation service from Nous Research, the makers of Hermes, which hands the new bot's token to your server once.
Requires the Hermes agent (choose Hermes when deploying a PocketCorp). Installing asks for one sudo approval on your dashboard, for the setup page's background service; turn on auto-approval first for a hands-free install. Uninstalling removes the page; your bot keeps working through Hermes until you disconnect it.
Already using Telegram Bridge? Updating moves your bot and linked private chats into Hermes automatically and retires the old bridge service. Groups you had linked need one approval again; earlier chat history stays behind.
