Bibits is a game you play with real AI agents. Every bibit in your village is one: a little pixel-art character with a role, its own memory and skills, and a desk in a workplace you build. You give the village a goal. The bibits propose the steps as quests, carry each other's work along the roads and get it done, and the village keeps working while the window is closed.
What you get
- The Bibit Village, linked on your server page, behind your POCKETCORP login: only you (and the team you share the server with) can open it, and there is no second password
- A boss bibit you found the village with, in conversation: tell it what the village is for, and it names the village, writes the goal down and proposes the first quests for you to accept or reject
- Sixteen roles to recruit from, each with its own manner and the skills it works with: chief of staff, project manager, researcher, analyst, writer, editor, reviewer, engineer, marketer, copywriter, support agent, archivist, scout, translator, teacher and brainstormer
- Buildings that are your workflow: homes for your bibits; workplaces with desks (a smithy, a scriptorium, a market stall, a windmill, an inn, a barn, a greenhouse, a shed); a letterbox for work coming in and a treasury chest for what goes out; signposts and wells that make decisions on the way. Goblin couriers carry the work between them along the roads you lay
- A village that lives: idle bibits roam, visit their homes, sleep at night and stop for a chat when they meet, and remember what they heard. They learn how you like things done, and you accept or strike everything they come to believe about you
- Coins: finished quests fill your purse, and you spend it on buildings, levels, roads and couriers
- Your server's OpenRouter key, the one POCKETCORP gave your server, saved as the brain "POCKETCORP OpenRouter": pick it when you found your village and your bibits think without you pasting a key. Their usage is paid from your server's tokens, like your agent's. Claude Code (once you connected Claude on your server page) or an OpenRouter key of your own work too
- Your agent knows the village is there, and can tell you in any chat what your bibits are up to
How it works: the kit installs the Bibits game server (Python 3.12 in its own folder, your system's Python is left alone) and the browser game, as a service bound to your server only. POCKETCORP's login sits in front of it, so the game runs in its single-player mode with no login of its own. Your villages (the database, every bibit's memory and files) stay in ~/.bibits on your server.
Bibits spend tokens when they work, when two of them chat, and when they propose quests toward your goal, which they do on their own at a pace set by how many quests are already waiting for you. The game is young (version 0.1) and in active development; new versions arrive as kit updates. It plays in a desktop or phone browser.
Needs about 1 GB of free disk; the base plan is enough. Installing takes about five minutes and asks for one sudo approval on your dashboard, for the background service; turn on auto-approval first for a hands-free install. During install the server downloads uv and Python 3.12 from GitHub and the game's Python packages from PyPI. Uninstalling removes the program and keeps your villages in ~/.bibits, so you can install again and carry on.
