AI eToro Trader

This kit turns the Hermes agent already running on your PocketCorp into your trading agent for eToro (https://www.etoro.com). Not a separate bot: the SAME agent you chat with on the dashboard or on Telegram gets eToro's official MCP tools, eToro's own operations skill, and a trading policy you control — so wherever you talk to it, it knows your portfolio, your strategy and its limits.

It is set up with eToro's official builder tooling (https://builders.etoro.com/tools/mcp): the kit registers eToro's MCP server with your personal API key and installs eToro's own always-current operations skill, which gives the agent portfolio, balances, positions, trading history, instrument data, public trader profiles, social posting and the prepare-and-confirm trading flow.

You decide what it may do — six independent switches

Setup is a guided wizard — one question per screen, built to be done on a phone. When it is finished you get a dashboard: permissions, profile, strategy, prompts and the agent's compiled standing orders, all editable.

The strategy step is the shortcut most people want: press IMPORT FROM MY PORTFOLIO and the agent works out the strategy you are ALREADY running — not a summary of your holdings, but the decision rules behind them. It reads your positions, balances, closed trades, watchlists, the traders you copy and your own social activity, then writes back entry and exit rules, real sizing, what has actually made money after fees, your biases in plain words, and where your behaviour contradicts what you said you do. Correcting that takes a minute; writing a strategy from a blank page does not.

Three pages, not one wall: an overview with everything foldable, a full CHAT with your agent, and an INDICATOR BUILDER. The chat is not a copy of the dashboard's chat — it IS the dashboard's chat, served straight from PocketCorp and framed here: the same markdown, the same code highlighting, the same file attachments, and it stays current on its own.

Indicators are small functions over a price series that get published to your agent as MCP tools it can call while it reasons. Write them in a proper editor — syntax highlighting, line numbers — with a live candlestick chart under it showing what the maths actually does, drawn the way that kind of indicator is drawn: a moving average or a band sits on the candles in the price's own scale, an RSI or a MACD gets its own pane underneath with its own scale and its own guide lines. Your indicator says which it is in one line, or says nothing and the app works it out from the numbers. Or do not write them at all: every indicator has its OWN chat, opened right under the code, with the agent already looking at that indicator. Say “make it react faster” and it rewrites the module, the chart redraws, and your agent has the new tool a second later. One button undoes any edit it made.

The setup is interactive: the agent reads your actual portfolio and briefs you, asks about your trading behaviour (experience, goals, risk numbers, markets, sizing, style, hard no-gos — seven questions), and on request proposes three strategies built from your real holdings and your answers. The strategy you agree on becomes part of its standing orders, together with any directives in your own words. Everything is editable at any time, and the compiled policy is shown to you verbatim — what you read is exactly what the agent reads.

Your eToro API key is written only into the agent's own configuration on your server and never shown back or sent anywhere else.

Honesty box: trading involves risk, leveraged products can lose more than you put in, and an AI agent is a tool, not a licensed financial advisor. The kit's defaults are deliberately conservative — everything off, demo before real, confirmation on every order.

Requires the Hermes agent (choose Hermes when deploying a new PocketCorp) and a free eToro API key from the eToro API portal (https://api-portal.etoro.com). During installation, approve the sudo prompts from your dashboard when asked — or enable auto-approval first, then it's completely hands-free.
