Your agent can do a lot on your server. With its own inbox it can also deal with the world by email: write to people for you, answer them, sign up for services, receive invoices and confirmation codes, and tell you what came in.
Set up in two steps on a page linked from your server page: pick your agent's address (like maya-assistant@agentmail.to) and your own email, then type in the 6-digit code AgentMail sends you. No account to create first, no API key to copy. Already use AgentMail? Paste your key and pick an inbox, including one on your own domain.
What you get
- An inbox that belongs to your agent, at AgentMail (free plan: 3 inboxes, 3,000 emails a month)
- Your agent reads, searches, writes, replies to and forwards email, and sends files from your server as attachments
- Optional alerts: a short message in Telegram, Discord or Slack when new email arrives. The check runs inside Hermes and costs no AI tokens
- A page with the latest mail, a test email, and example requests to try
How it works: the kit installs AgentMail's official MCP server (agentmail-mcp, pinned) and Hermes' official AgentMail skill, registers both with Hermes and tells your agent its address. Your agent treats email from others as information, not as instructions, and asks you before writing to someone new. The API key stays on your server.
Outbound connections: api.agentmail.to (setup, the latest-mail list, alerts) and AgentMail's hosted MCP endpoint mcp.agentmail.to (your agent's email tools).
Requires the Hermes agent (choose Hermes when deploying a POCKETCORP). Installing asks for one sudo approval on your dashboard, for the setup page's background service; turn on auto-approval first for a hands-free install. Uninstalling removes the tools from your agent; the inbox and its mail stay at AgentMail.
